Herbs and spices give flavor to every meal, however many pre packaged seasonings have added sugar, maltodextrin, MSG and cellulose, just to name a few. In order to avoid these added ingredients which are not beneficial to health, we recommend making your own spice blends as often as possible. This taco seasoning comes together quickly and makes enough for more than one meal.

Ingredients: Makes 4 Tbsp. and ¼ tsp
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 Tbsp. cumin
- 2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 ½ tsp. smoked paprika
- 1 tsp. sea salt (was 1 ½ but we changed it to 1 tsp)
- ½ tsp. oregano
- ½ tsp. garlic powder
- ½ tsp. onion powder
- ¼ tsp. red pepper flakes
- Measure all ingredients into a bowl and mix.
- Store in an airtight container.
*Per every 1 pound of meat we suggest using about 2 tablespoons of the taco seasoning mix.
