This smoothie includes maple extract which should not be confused with maple syrup. It also includes hazelnut extract. You can find maple and hazelnut extract in the seasonings and spices section of your grocery store over by the vanilla extract. If you can’t find maple extract you can omit (although we love the taste with it) and the hazelnut extract can be substituted for almond extract.
